Profession preview | Based on client build 1.60.1.70245, compiled on 9 October 2026. Not tested in-game. This evidence excludes hotfixes and some encrypted records; actual availability and behavior require in-game confirmation.
This grenade is made through Engineering, and its item text emphasizes that non-engineers can use it too. Its effect description mentions Fire damage and a stun within a 3-yard radius, with any damage breaking the control effect. The damage amount and control duration have not been confirmed in this evidence set.〔1〕
Why it is worth watching
The point worth investigating is that the crafting profession and the users of its products can be separate: an engineer-made item may become a consumable other characters can prepare. A wider user base does not establish strong sales, and it does not mean Engineering items have generally lost their requirements. Details of the control effect especially need testing with actual targets and situations.〔2〕
Conditions supported by the current data
- Profession: Engineering
- Character level required to use the item: 1
These item usage conditions are not recipe learning requirements. The learning route still needs to be checked.〔3〕
What to test next
- What restrictions still apply when a non-engineer actually uses it?
- How do damage, control duration, diminishing returns and shared cooldowns behave?
- Where does the Easy-Throw Casing come from, how many grenades are produced and what trading rules apply?
These are targets for the next round of testing, not confirmed acquisition or usage rules.〔2〕
